Hello and welcome. Sorry I can't help with EotB, I've haven't even played it myself yet, but I can sympathise on the state of modern OSes (BSD fan here). AROS is cool and keeps getting better, there's also the exciting development of the Vampire 2 accelerators for classic machines around the corner. It's a great time to get back into the scene.
Glad AROS worked in your machine, it took me a little bit of digging, but totally worth it.

Hi all,
I'm an Atari ST user (pls no bully), disillusioned with modern OSes. I'm mainly a Linux/FreeBSD user nowadays, but FreeBSD doesn't have many drivers, and Linux is sucking harder and harder every day. A staunchly Amigan friend of mine suggested I look at AROS, so I downloaded it last week. To my shock and amazement, it ran on my hardware - even down to the network card. All I've got to do is figure out how to play Eye of the Beholder, and I've found my perfect OS :) I'm pleased to meet you all, and I hope I become useful to the community in time.
