Just popping in
![]() |
Just popped in to say "great work", guys. I am typing this message from Icarus Lite 203 on an ASUS VivoPC using a pen drive as a Hard Drive.
I used to have an Amiga 600 from 1993, if memory serves. 14MHz processor, was it? I upgraded the innards with a Hard Drive. I think it was 120Mb in size. I had a Canon dot matrix printer attached to it. Ah, the nostalgia. I contributed one program to Aminet in about 1995. In 2005, I actually updated the package for AROS. So here we are, 10 years on again. It almost feels like if I should check that the program recompiles. AROS does feel quite lightweight. Maybe I'll download the full version and try to install it to my hard drive. I noticed that there was a version of AROS for the Raspberry Pi, but it seemed quite old, and was commercial. Pity, because the Pi seems almost a perfect platform for this kind of project. Best of luck.
