The Chinese government is promoting smoking as a new population control mechanism. They advertise smoking as good for you, curing illnesses and cancer and other nonsense.

I haven't gotten to the video drivers yet. Still on the to-do list. Actually, right now, we're looking at timer code since AROS has nasty timing code. Good timing support is needed for Hollywood and Bars & Pipes from what has been said on the dev-list. So a few of us are discussing some strategies for doing timing in native and hosted.

Unichrome is developement, Prism2 support was just released. Several new bounties are either started or have opened. Some WB improvements.

I'm alive and back from China. The next version of The Purr is being worked on. Clearly, I have given up any hope of a regular schedule and now have adopted:

"No Schedule and Rocking!" keeping in line with the rest of the gang. :)

Any news on the Unichrome video driver? What else happened since I was gone? Internet was so spotty in China (they have it, but my house didn't, and the internet cafes instantly triggered asthma in me, so full of smoke were they). So I feel much like I've ressurected or come out of a coma.
