Should we add it to the default build then?

First of all, get AROS itself built, the usual way. Then, from the same dir where you typed "make" the first time, to build AROS, now type "make contrib-Networking-Stacks-AROSTCP": that should do it.

It should, since a long time. Besides, the FreeBSD build has been halted for other reasons for a long while now.

It's not built by default, I think because it doesn't compile on FreeBSD.

I haven't seen the tcp/ip stack in the latest nightly.
Where is it?

it's true there have been strides of progress lately, it is all waiting someone to put it all together in nice neat package (hint, hint cc ;)
I am wondering, if mosaic is (mostly) working, and the tcp/ip stack has been around for a while then what prevents one from going online in aros? Is it the nic drivers?, a gui for tcp/ip? or both? I also remember someone talking about an aros irc client... any news on that? wookiechat woul be a good candidate.... is it gpl'ed?
