The "dragging the shell window" freeze should be gone in 2013-05-08 and later builds.

While the problem with the size gadget seems to be gone under ABIv1 it is still possible to freeze AROS by dragging the Shell window

I can reproduce the problem under ABIv0, when I do:
- execute in a Shell a scipt which prints some stuff in a loop - run Click2Front - try to resize the Shell window while it's behind another window. => deadlock. This should already be fixed: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=3561012&group_id=43586&atid=439463
