I've only had the syssource issue when the LUPD assign was missing. Where are you installing from? My update file is always located in downloads.

Ok, what about "syssource"?

Thanks!

To avoid this issue open shell and type:
assign lupd: AROS:Tools/LUPD

At some point this assign should be added to the startup-sequence.

Hi Fiero,

I haven't come to it to update my 1.4.2 to 1.4.5 so maybe i will run into the same problem

It would be unwise (for me) to speculate about how far the update got into the update process.

The one that really can answer/solve that is paolone, but he is on holliday for a couple of weeks....

In the mean time perhaps you can try to run the update again, after reading this thread, as it seems more people came across the same issue.

regards,

When I ran the 1.4.2 to 1.4.5 update, it complained that it couldn't find volume "LUPD" ... later on when doing the update is complained about not finding volume "systemsource" or something like that.

So I'm not sure how up to date I am now...
