What do you think of my 68k distribution Aros Vision? Could it create interest for Aros in the demoscene?

The mostly Amiga demo coders, codes for the classic Amiga?
Like I have understood they don?t like x86, PPC?
So getting people from the Classic Amiga demo scene I think will be hard?

Using demo tools is maybe not a bad idea; maybe it?s more realistic because there are so few developers for AROS.
But are there any demo tools ported for AROS, and how many is interested to create demos with these tools?
Looks like the mostly developers for AROS port games, demos?

Maybe it is important to get a unique style on the demos too, maybe so it feels like looking on an old Classic Amiga demo.

I have created one demo for AROS, but I don?t know if there are any other AROS demos that I have missed that some other demo group have created?

Of course, I present so-called "lamers" solutions, with demotools, since I'm not a coder. But after all, most of the PC groups these days use demotools (of course, they program their own, that 's make an important difference).


With the 3d abilities of our machines, I personaly think it's a shame, but...

See GLexcess tech demo. Imagine some artistic vision and music. We have the horse power, to make the step between classic amiga demoscene and the windows demoscene. Once again, an evil plan of expansionism. Of course, probably just a few guys more, but if they are coders...

I dont think it is really relevant to bounties.

Not to be a party pooper or anything, but will it not be a problem that people live all over the world? Don't misunderstand me, I like the idea. But I think this is a big obsticle.

Well I was chatting around @ #aros.. I know it is maybe nearly impossible to realize... but what about a AROS Party Bounty.. as a thank you for the people who contributed to AROS.... Maybe combined with a big Scene Demo Party.. some kind of AROS Conference Party.. and maybe at least partially funded by the AROS User Base? So that the people who do the work for AROS can meet and have some fun together?
