Its seems that in abiv0 seems some problems with os4 icons format still present.

Just get that archive:ftp://ftp.scene.org/pub/mags/hugi/hugi37_amigang.lha

(sorry, big one, 60mb).

Unpack it, and you will see that icons just grey triangles (while on os4 and morphos they showns correctly).

Check plz from 25 seconds at begining how it looks like.

I too have a problem with the icons...

First problem (more estetical than a problem) is when dragging an icon around in a drawer or an icon on the desktop... the icon background is greyed, no transparency there.... (edited, forget this it was a setting, checkbox in wanderer prefs)

The second one is more of a real bug, when resizing a drawer the icons "disappear" forcing me to use window->sort->clean up, then the icons is displayed again...

System used:
I am running a native AROS (Icaros - should be the latest) with update 4, this is in turn running in virtualbox 3.1.6 OSE, which in turn is running in Linux / Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx) 32 bit...

Both of those problems are already fixed in my local build. The fixed icon.library will be present in the final, 4th update of "iconification".

I've the problems outlined above on Installer, More and Multiview, basically almost everything that's inside Utilities and Tools. But no problems in changing and/or displaying Disks, OWB, Dopus, ZuneArc, everything that's inside Extras.

Well, I'd like to know what files I have to update in order to have OS4 icons working as expected. I can't spot all offending icons among the distribution, but fixing them at once would be the correct solution.

both .info status images appear correctly on the last 2 Nightly Builds here. But I'm having problems too with Tool vs. Type associations (as reported in another thread). I successfully managed to convert them to PNGs with ImageConverter on my Amiga (so you can then associate them correctly, or at least the few of them I tried), if you need them I can send you a .zip archive via YouSendIt.

Hello, I have two issues with AmigaOS 4-format icons on Icaros Desktop 1.3.3 patch 02.

1) while normal status image is shown correctly, the selected one still falls to a ugly 4-colors image

2) this is a real show stopper: I can't say if it's a general problem, however some times the icon turns from tool to project type, which makes the associated tool unable to start

Try launching DragonMemory_AROS from the extras:Games/DragonMemory drawer of Icaros Desktop. It will run multiview instead. I have deleted the multiview string in the tool field, but it doesn't help (a "choose tool to open" window appears, I just need to choose the associated executable name and everything is OK. But it shouldn't be needed).
