Hmm i like to have an easy definition... : )
A driver and a simple gui (+shell commands) -> it should use mplayer. like on linux "mplayer tv:// -tvdriver=v4l2:input=0:norm=pal:width=640:height=480:device=/dev/video0:\ freq=775.25:adevice=/dev/dsp1:forceaudio:audiorate=32000" So in other words... how is not important.... it must just work. Recording is automatically possible with mplayer....

Hi,
this can be a big improvement to all plattforms. But it is a big task, i think it is the best to create first a DVB framework like the Linux V4L and add Drivers for Chipsets and specified Frontends for DVB-S, DVB-T, etc. to this. You can then integrate DVB-T, DVB-S in AMC Edit: http://www.geit.de/deu_valiantvision.html The Author of AmithlonTV was working on such a framework, perhaps he can help

Hi i was asked by different dealers/vendors about the possibility to add support for such a card in AMC. I asked around and found a coder which "could" do it. But since he lives from coding his time is money. I would like to convince him to try a model like the poseidon bounty where we define a sum to be reached.
So first question: Would it be possible to add the need of a AmigaOS and MorphOS port to a bounty on power2people? Or is only AROS allowed ; ) This way everyone has a benefit and more people would agree to donate. EDIT: Just to make it clear: The bounty is not AMC bounded.... it is about a general driver
