a bit OT but i sometimes miss a tool like the old amiga installer that was having its own scripting language to set up stuff, maybe the two things might be combined... Saimon69

Extend InstallAROS to support running a post install wizard on new systems.
The Wizard should appear visually like InstallAROS's main Wizard interface - but perform post installation options for the new system. The supported configuration options should be implemented as individual "plugin" components. Configuration components to provide -: > A module (or modules) for basic localization, input, time, etc configuration. > A module to probe for supported AHI audio cards and configure AHI appropriately. > A module to probe for supported network hardware and provide local network configuration options > a module to probe for supported video hardware and configure the system appropriately. > a module to let basic visual settings be configured (theme selection, zune config overiding if the theme provides a zune config, etc) The main InstallAROS app should have an option to run the post installation configuration - and if set, copy the necessary wizard to the newly installed systems wbstartup folder. The Wizard should also delete/move itself to storage after completing and configuring the system.
