The whole web plugin approach is kind of obsolete. HTML5 (and 6, 7....) is the future.

I hope this is the correct place to post this...in the bounty wishlist forum.

I don't know everything about software, operating systems, websites, browsers, etc. But I know most than others. I like microkernel operating systems. I like anything that is lightweight and efficient. It gets things done faster. I like Mac OS 9.2.2 altogether. On Mac OS X I use xFolders with Finder turned completely off. On Windows XP, I use Xplorer2 Lite. I like Opera Browser. I love this website (It loads very fast) .... you get the idea.

I keep wondering why that some websites are very slower than others. Some software is slower than others. I am guessing that it is easy to get software running. But getting it running *Efficiently* is a completely different thing. I guess it takes more effort. (but I think it is worth it!!)

Although as I am typing this post...I have never tried AROS yet...my computers (either very old PPC Macs, or "PC Clones" and not Amiga/Amiga Clones...I am not going to put AROS on any macs, but I will with PC clones...once I get power supply, RAM, and hard drive for them...one at a time) and so all I am doing now involving AROS is donating funds to it. I am guessing it is an operating system focused on Speed. MorphOS, a sister OS (Is it safe to call it a "sister OS"?) website says "enjoy the beauty of resource efficienty" so I am going to say that Amiga OS, MorphOS, and AROS, are all focused on performance...despite me not using any of them yet.

I was browsing the forum about JAVA on AROS... and that is important...and also interesting. Sun Microsystems created JAVA and Macromedia created Flash. They have software such as Web Plugins. The Web Plugins are annoying. they take a noticeable time to load...which makes it appear like an emulated operating system. I react to this like a technology illerate person...I get annoyed and confused.

I am pretty sure that Flash and Java are not efficient software. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Perhaps it is the bandwidth in the HD Video on YouTube, and those very very slow (even on new computers) Zynga games on Facebook that makes me think that Flash is slow. And I think that the Java in Open Office Dot Org makes it slow...
and...whenever I use the picture websites...even Shutterfly and Snapfish... the Bulk Uploaders are either in Java And Flash.

....Java and Flash are written for many operating systems. (and as a result, many applications are being written in Java and Flash) and there are open source alternatives to these, such as gnash.

So why doesn't Amiga launch its own web plugin to compete with Java And Flash? It can be programmed efficiently, and be the easiest and quickest to use web plugin to use available. More and more people would know about Amiga software. which means that they could learn more about Amiga & clones.

It is a very crazy idea. And I know that AROS is not Amiga, Inc., Commodore World, Genesi, and MorphOS.

And I also know that even if AROS was able to do something like this, it would be after it completed all its other bounty projects.

But what do you think about this idea?
