I have updated the MorphOS executable to use the fixed graphics module, so it should no-longer crash when you change screens.

This example shows shows how to smoothly move (and animate) a player sprite around the screen, in 118 lines of E code.
Since the ShootEmUp example is a bit big for beginners, I am thought this much smaller example would be a good thing for beginners to play with. You can download this example from here, which includes pre-compiled executables for AmigaOS4, AROS & MorphOS. The source code is included, but can also be found here. And here is a screenshot, to give you an idea of what to expect:
