I really don't get these issues. A new bounty is nothing that needs to be done within 24h. Nevertheless, A-Siegel is quite fast at responding to e-mails. The AROS bounty system works very well, compared to the "other" systems. So I have to thank power2people's people for doing that work for us.

Please respond to ShInKurO's e-mail, apparently it was sent a week ago. The Zune update bounty is really important IMO.

We sent two replies and it took several days for an initial donation to be finally made. That happened some time yesterday. The bounty is open as of today...

a small suggestion regarding the AROS Development Fund
:

http://www.power2people.org/fund_aros.html

maybe it would make sense to put a "last updated on yyyy/mm/dd" there?

@HenryCase:

The official contact to submit the bounties is:

Bounty inquiries: bounties@power2people.org

Just write an email.

Why would you expect Andre to respond to a PM - remember that PM system on A-E is buggy to an extend. If official email does not work for you for any reason, let me know and I will get in contact with A-Siegel.

EDIT: Ok, Andre was faster ;)

I'm a little disappointed that the response time of Power2People is slow. As can be seen in this thread, a new bounty request was made a week ago and still no answer:

For your infomation, ShInKurO was sent a reply via PM several days ago, which requested that he please send his bounty proposal by email.

The reason that we even noticed the PM was pure luck, mind you. We log in on this website irregularily. It should be rather obvious that sending an email is the preferred way to contact Power2People. There is a reason why AROS Exec is not listed as a viable contact option on our website, which does list numerous email addresses.

I know there has been other slowness with funds showing up, but as far as I understand that's due to a PayPal dispute, which will hopefully be resolved soon.

There is a single page on the Power2People website that had not be updated for about two months, namely the AROS Fund page. Everything else is updated within 24 hours upon receiving an email notice about a donation. Most of the time substantially faster than that even.

If anybody is confident that he can do a faster job, we would love to get in touch.

Hi,

I'm specifically looking for the attention of A-Siegel, but whilst we're waiting, feel free to join in.

I'm a little disappointed that the response time of Power2People is slow. As can be seen in this thread, a new bounty request was made a week ago and still no answer:
http://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?mode=viewtopic&topic_id=32260&forum=15&start=180&viewmode=flat&order=0#577114

I know there has been other slowness with funds showing up, but as far as I understand that's due to a PayPal dispute, which will hopefully be resolved soon.

What I would like to know is how we can improve speed at which new bounties are created. Any suggestions?

I think it would be good if you could submit bounty requests directly on the Power2People website, and see them in a holding area on the site, where you'd be able to comment on them before they were finalised.

Clearly PMs do not work, it makes sense to me that bounty requests should be visible on the Power2People website itself.

A-Siegel, please respond to ShInKurO's PM regarding Zune improvements, and let us know if there's anything we can do to make things easier for you. Thanks.
