Even if there was an OT forum, that does not insure that someone would actually use it. But it could be worth trying.
Also, there was some talk of a games forum, and maybe a video forum might be interesting too.

Yes, your assumptions regarding the contents of the proposed OT forum are probably accurate. However, having an OT forum should make your life easier as a forum admin because you wouldn't need to lock off topic discussions (like you did earlier today), off topic threads are just kept in their own corner of the website away from the main AROS discussions. Please reconsider.

I could open a OT forum but i dont see the point, it would not be displayed on the front page and it would then probably turn into a zombie land for one or 2 guys posting lots of to them, interesting subjects.

Sincerely IMHO I see no reason for an off-topic area here - what I come to look for AROS-EXEC is AROS/Amiga related subjects... But that's me!...
As long it stays away from the front page, I don't really care...

It looks like it is a desideratum for some of us to have an OT-Forum. Are there any problems to integrate a new forum to AROS-EXEC? Or an other reason not to do so? Thanks

What about The Bar (Off topic misc chatter)?
I have some music i love for it: DESERT PLANET Riot Sector 68 Asteroid Hopper Lost Galaxians Return of the Ninja Droids green fireball Ahhh - i like 'em. And on next Monday i can see them live at an open-air near my hometown - yeahhh!
