i have been through the manual again, which helps! and now i see the "nightly" system for updates. i think this is a good work around for a user. so i am wondering where i download the nightly image? i am using a pc and running it native. i did go to the nightly download section but which file name is it for the pc native version? thanks.
i think i will find a sound blaster and a geforce 4...

Try increasing the stack size of things you click on. Many times, this is enough to make them not freezing anymore.

Well guys. I have bought some space on a linux hosting service some weeks ago, and I use it only to store Icaros files for now. If someone of you is able to create the needed infrastructure for live updates, you're welcome. I'm not able to, sorry.

I been thinking about this too. It would be very nice to have.

I have no idea how this could be done, but sure is possible ;)

I was wondering if it would be possible to add a live update function in Icaros?

This function would update Icaros to the latest state after having checked if a new update is available for download, without having to burn a CD.

It should look as the live update function in Amikit, letting the user chose if he wants to update or not.

The basic tools are available (wget, lua scripting, etc...).

Would it be difficult to add this functionality?
Would it mean a lot of maintenance work?

Thanks,
Yannick
