did you read already this:
VMware Workstation cannot open one of the virtual disks needed by this VM because it is larger than the maximum file size supported by the host file system. Some remote file systems do not support files larger than 2 GB, even though the file system on the server might. Cannot open the disk 'D:\t?l?chargement\vmwaros\beta01\aros-000001-cl1.vmdk' or one of the snapshot disks it depends on. Reason: The file is too large. This happens only with latest ,not with version 1.3 of vmware.

With snag binaries i mean there`s executables of SNUG (yes, mistaken) server for many different OS like Beos etc, AROS don`t need it (Networking/snug/bin). c. default icon can be easily made i guess , just copied and renamed to relevant names. Also, it can be good idea to put there our usage doc in txt or html format. And, maybe, opening it with the ConfigIP

Some fast notes from my brief look into v.01 (in vmplayer)
1) You know =) but looks cool 2) Themes except for mos wasn`t working (hasn`t tried em all anyway) 3) RAM was too much - i`d better set it to 96 Mb or so. I have only 256 on my working machine. 4) The VM NIC wasn`t up because of i set them down long ago. Maybe it will be better to set it to bridging with the real nic. Alas haven`t time to test the net 5) Finderlogo.iff reboots the system instead of displaying. maybe the bug in IFF datatype or smth. Wishes -Dopus defaults configured (editor etc) -Snag binaries removed except for AROS -Standard icon for applications (the same) Nice start, Paolo !

My few cents:
1. I like the skin you've used. If it wouldn't be a MOS-mimic I would suggest to make this one a default skin. ;) Nice backgrounds also. 2. The IP of virtual networks in vmware may differ from host to host. Since we do not have dhcp yet (what a shame!) I would suggest some simple window (let make it in LUA for example) asking at the first boot network configuration 3. What I disliked was the italian localization - if you announce vmwaros globally, english locale would be better. 4. Good info - the vmwaros works perfectly in vmware player (with some tiny modifications of vmx file - the physical location of CD and floppy differs on my linux box :))
