Well - not really
I generated the PDF from web documentation semi-automaticaly (if it was fully automated, you would get pdf update every time there was web update). Making a "pocket reference" really means writing a whole new book. I don't have time for such thing.

Have you considered doing a pocket reference? That would be more handy for me than the book sized PDF. I'd have both, but when programming, it's easier to filp through a pocket reference.

Well, I hope then that in my next release of D PDF manual (maybe this year) there will be word AROS... :->

Funny you should mention it. I have D setup for Linux and was looking into making an AROS version of phobos. Then it's just a matter of using the Linux version of D and link with AROS versions of any linklibs needed. I'll post on the forum once I have that working.

I know SOMEWHERE there is gcc for native AROS. If you are computer language freak like I, maybe it would be good to compile D frontend for AROS. D is a new (but quickly getting stable) language developed by ex-symantec guy, who wrote their C++ compiler.
To see comparison of D vs C vs C++ vs Java vs C# see: http://www.digitalmars.com/d/comparison.html (shortly - C-style syntax, no header files, contracts like in Eiffel, mixins, templates, interfaces...) How to compile D frontend for gcc: http://home.earthlink.net/~dvdfrdmn/d/INSTALL.html So any GNU guru (Fabio?) out there... maybe to add this front-end would be just easy and painless?
