I never used the kickstart replacement in any UAE flavour, so I can't say what's wrong, but since AROS' UAE is simply an un*x UAE with AROS support built-in, and since the changes I made are limited to the AROS support only, my guess is that it's a general un*x UAE problem, rather than an AROS-specific one. If you can, try the linux version of UAE, and see whether it has the same problem. Quote:
You can't make uae-gui without having made uae first, because some headers are autogenerated during the build process, and uae-gui depends on those. Actually, what you're pointing out is a flaw in the internal dependencies of the UAE build, which I'm going to fix. Thanks for pointing it out. Quote:
The "gui file" is od-aros/aros-gui.c, which in turn uses the Emulator class in od-aros/uae-gui/emulator.c.

hi,
i have played with aros uae and two missing things in my opinion is the kickstart replacement (it doesnt works as in winuae) and the gui. the gui is not "connected" to the main program, i was looking into it to see how hard it would be to connect the thing. make uae-gui and than make uae-od-aros it complains of missing target.h, someone has more info about those things? regards, PS: i didnt find the place for main/gui connection, if someone know where it is (which files...probably the main uae and main aros-gui files) would be great! |
