As far as I know, you should always use 32 bpp on host machine to run 16 or 32 bit hosted desktop, using VMware. So, set 32 bit on Windows desktop before starting VMware, then select 16 or 32 bit display on emulated AROS. Anyway, 32 bit on VMware actually works better than 16 bit.

i had the same problems with my vm ware 4.
I think you should use 32bit mode, or try to use 16bit mode and set the host system to 16bit, too. I think there could be problems if they don't match? But maybe I'm mistaken here. mfg moe

Thanks for the coment, but i have solved the problem. Just selecting the 800x600 32 bit mode. In 16 bit mode the graphics were jerky. Now i´m trying to download the vmware version 4.5.1 but it gives me an error and don´t redirect me to the download site. It happens also when i tries to download the version 4. Could anyone help me on this?

Hey i have installed aros on the vmware 3.2.1 but have graphic glitches and don´t know how to turn this on a good looking colors. Booting without vmware directly on my computer it works an sees perfectly!!!!. Thanks in advance.
P.S: I need help on this urgent!!!!!!! see ya!
