If you go to the screenshots section on aros-exec, then you see that someone has been plastering tons of repetetive spam-texts under many AROS related screenshots. This is horrible sad for such a nice project...

Due to ongoing spam attacks on the Freenode network itself where our channel #AROS is located i have had to limit the channel so that only users with registered and identified nicknames can join the channel.
See here for more information on the spam attacks: https://freenode.net/news/spambot-attack https://freenode.net/news/spam-shake Unsure how to register your nickname? see here: https://freenode.net/kb/answer/registration
