It's probaly been suggested already, but I think a "latest posts" link in the user menu will become a must at some point.

Unless there is one somewhere and I didnt notice it

Also, being able to log in from any page might reduce the "anonymous coward" count. I dunno about everybody else, but I usually only log in to a site like this when I feel the need to contribute. That often occurs in a thread etc., and having to go back to the site's main page to log in and then find your way back to wherever you wanted to post can be a bit of a bind.

Other than that, good stuff

Sprouts. Admit it, you know they're just totally wrong.

A minor problem, when you aren't logged on, and you start reading posts, it helpfully suggests that you "register to post". But to "register" means to create a new account. When you click on "register to post" it actually (correctly) takes you to a logon screen. This should probably be "logon to post" or "login to post" or whatever, or better yet, just include the "username" and "password" fields in every screen where someone isn't logged on yet, to make it easy. And when they do log on, it should go right back to where they were.

When I go to a particular subject, my personal preference is that the standard view is "flat". Call me lazy but I do prefer it this way. Don't expect any changes to be made because the site is superb.

I have been waiting for this for sooooooooo long.

Excellent, and thanks for your feedback. The worst thing I know is a broken website.

Now, need to fix an amiga classic compatible theme :)

Thanks,

It seems the changes seem to work better for me. The basic problem was that when you clicked on the Web Links the information was at the botom of the page and at least on my monitor couldn't be seen unless you scrolled down. This at first made me think that it wasn't working. With the changes you have made it seems to be much clearer.

This might be just me but some of the way the navigation works on this site is a little strange. Like when cliking on of "Web Links" or "Recent Links", I would expect either a page listing the "Web Links" or in the case of "Recent Links" for a new page to open for that site. The way it works now my browser just blinks and then I have to scroll down to see either a list of web links or a discription of the recent link, then navigate to the web page. This is just my thoughts though.

I'm not sure if I understood what you meant. If you press on links under Web links you'll be presented with the link in our database with info about it, including its URL.

The "blinking" issue I think we've managed to solve by decreasing the size of the "Recent forum topics"-block at the top.

Please comment if you feel I'm totally wrong here.
