FYI: since there does not seem to be much interest, I will not submit the bounty. Anyone is free to use the text of the bounty in future if they want.

"to the extend needed for the above sites to function properly"

This is the most crucial part - the sites I selected don't require JS to function or at least don't require it to the extend Gmail, YT and Facebook requires.

It makes sense, but you have written this:

"The endianess problem in Java Script needs to be fixed or circumvented to the extend needed for the above sites to function properly"

So, it seems that Javascript should work...

@All

The output of the bounty will be a browser that basically has the JavaScript disabled:

"The endianess problem in Java Script needs to be fixed or circumvented to the extend needed for the above sites to
function properly"

The sites you listed are all Java Script based and I doubt you will be able to use them without JS.

The idea is that this is a kind of preparation bounty that solves all other problems except for JS and oce the JS problem is solved, a simple recompilation will deliver a fully working browser. For JS, the second bounty is proposed.

Facebook and GMail can also be a good benchmark.

None of the listed websites are particularly good test suites for Javascript.

Also, even though this may be unlikely, those websites could change dramatically in the months ahead complicating the fulfillment of the bounty terms due to references to "moving targets".

Perhaps a better approach would be to list alternatives as requirements. So, just to name one example, one would ask that either YouTube _or_ Vimeo should be tested to work, etc.

there is no such site as amiga-world.net, dont make your bounty unfulfillable! ;)
besides id rather include some hheavy sita as reference, you can open for instance a bbc site with netsurf68k, just leave out the javascript requirement.

1/2 of application related bounties proposal:

--------------------------------------

Odyssey 68k bounty

Compile the current version of Odyssey (at least 1.25) to work under AROS 68k. The source codes are available at
https://github.com/deadwood-pl/OdysseyWebBrowser. Please note that there is a known big endian issue with JavaScript
component of Odyssey.

Validation:
- At minimum Odyssey 68k opens, allows logging and interacting with following sites: amiga.org, amiga-world.net, aros-exec.org, eab.abime.net
- The endianess problem in Java Script needs to be fixed or circumvented to the extend needed for the above sites to
function properly
- If the endianess problem is solved by the time bounty is assigned, delivering HTML5 video player needs to be
functional as well
- Changes need to be integrated tohttps://github.com/deadwood-pl/OdysseyWebBrowser, released with license compatible with Odyssey and allow compiling with AROS 68k crosscompiler
- The external libraries needed to compile Odyssey 68k are either provided in AROS contrib build (so build with every
AROS build) or are delivered in binary form and uploaded to a publicly accessible site

Note:
The leopard-webkit project already has a big endian patch for WebKit:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/leopard-webkit/files/600/Sources/
