Hi Deadwood,
Yes. I have a 'modified' Icaros installaton. The internal hard-drive has four SFS partitions: AROS: (sys:), work:, documents: and test: plus a windows boot (ntfs); the external sata has one sfs partition content: and a fat one shared with windows.

Cheers,
Nigel.

Do you have more than two partitions? Documents: with default Icaros installation is not a partion but an assign.

This is a strange one...

Today I had cause to try to open an ILBM held on my 'Documents:' partition via multiview, this resulting in both the Documents: and sys: partitons throwing up an error saying they were in an invalid state, requiring a reboot.

Now here's the weird bit. If I copy the file to another SFS partition except sys:, the same thing happens. It does not seem to make any difference if the file is at the highest level or within a drawer. However, if it is copied to sys: (which is also SFS) or ram: or even a fat formatted partition, the file opens fine! Conversely, other ILBM files on the Documents: partiton open without problem. Weird...

Cheers,
Nigel.

P.S. this is on my netbook, files refreshed to nightly from last week, plus the latest kernel released by Deadwood.
