ho masterizzato un cdrom e icaros adesso fa il boot dal drive interno ide e anche dal drive esterno usb

penso che il problema sia il computer avevo un laptop che non faceva il boot nonostante il dvd fosse riconosciuto su altri computer, al limite smonta l'hard disk e collegalo su un'altro computer come dice amiga e prova dovrebbe andare.

ken, ci sarebbe un'altra alternativa, che credo possa funzionare, ed ? quella di smontare l'Hard disk del Portatile e collegarlo su altro PC dove il lettore CD-DVD funziona o attraverso VirtualBox.
Riguardo l'installazione attraverso una pendrive che tecnica hai usato: quella spiegata da Paolone nel manuale o usato semplicemente una pendrive dove "era gi? stato" installato precedentemente AIcarOS. Se pu? interessarti allego un mio VideoTube che mostra come installare IcarOS su PenDrive con VMware Player, nel video ? mostrato un errore di incompatibilit? con alcuni tipi di pendriver, problema che non sussiste invece se usi VirtualBox.

ken, there would be another alternative, which I think might work, and that is to remove the hard drive and connect the Portable on another PC where the CD-DVD works or through VirtualBox.
Regarding installation through a pendrive that technique you used: that by Paolone explained in the manual or simply used a pendrive where "had already been" previously installed AIcarOS. If you're interested I enclose my VideoTube showing how to install ICAROS on PenDrive with VMware Player, the video shows an error of incompatibility with certain types of pendriver, that there is no problem if you use VirtualBox instead.

Sorry for that.

As said, if you happen to have a USB-pendrive / USB-Stick (or whatever you want to call it) that you can use, you could try that option.

For the Icaros DVD version you need a pendrive that is at least 8 GB in size. The Light version of icaros could be fitted on 4 GB USB pendrive.
