Where in normal Icaros installation are these servers? I was looking for MSS in Icaros but no succes (If I remember my installation is not full).???

Topic I use is maybe wrong. I'm interested in Snug HTTP server but when it crashed I tried YAFS too. (so I was looking for MSS folder not sharing files and when not found I installed servers extra).
OK. Now I found them in System:Network. Unfortunately when I started them (Snug and YAFS) manually they crashed. When I use Icaros settings to start FTP file sharing YAFS started corectly. But how to start webserver??
Maybe someone could try to start Snug and write result here?

OK. I duplicated yafs-startup, changed "YAFS" text to "SnugAROS" in new file named snug-startup, executed file and... I have my webbrowser running :)

In order to activate your ftp server on Icaros Desktop, you are supposed to run prefs/Icaros Settings -> networking -> activate FTP file sharing. And restart.

Nothing more to do.

Why didn't you read the manual?

My MSS is from AROS-Archives. Maybe this configuration broke system.

I'd say it's correctly working for me, as usual.

Icaros 2.0.3 Snug & YAFS aren't working with net0 interface.
Error 0x8000008 Privilege violation error
Any ideas how to fix it?

I use Icaros on Acer One with Atheros Interface...
net0 is automatic DHCP

As you have guessed I was unaware that upgrading from 1.4 to 1.4.1 could lead to such issues; I checked the Icaros website and found no mention of this (at least none that I could find). On the other hand I've noticed that in the announce post for 1.4.2 this it is clearly written (:

By the way, congratulations for the 1.4 branch to you and all those contributed, I'm looking forward to getting 1.4.2. installed! The leap from 1.3.x is noticeable.

I'd be more careful when saying what's right and what's wrong.

People upgrading from 1.4 to 1.4.1 had the FTP server stopped by the fact that its configuration file was updated, where user system setting weren't. So they had either to delete network config and do it again, or modify YAFS file.

People who installed 1.4.1 from scratch didn't have any issue, since both network preferences and YAFS ones were already updated to use net0: instead of older eth0: naming convention.
