If you already have source code written for your MUI GUI, it would probably be easier to recompile it with plain GCC rather than import it into a GUI builder. BTW, welcome to AROS.

@aha

I think what SamuraiCrow meant is that OT's project should compile out of the box. I think mazze is well aware of the problems with MUI builder on AROS.

But, i think SamuraiCrow missed the part where OT was asking for SAS C and StormC 4.

That would suggest OT's projects are written for one of those compilers and his (existing) sources are not gcc compatible.

The only other c-compiler that currently could create aros executables (that i am aware of is amidev here.

to OT:
AmiBridge is just a 'bridge' to emulating classic Amiga (using janus UAE). So, yes. You should be able to run run SAS C and StormC 4 with it.

I would suggest creating a custom HD setup that you could directly start from within amibridge (or forget amibridge), see also here.

@SamuraiCrow

The port is rather old (January 2011). So it is not clear if the reported crashes at this time were Zune related or not. The port was done by Mazze. Maybe he can comment on this or even build a new binary with the actual Zune? (I am no C developer.)

If MUI software doesn't work and it's not an endian or macro issue, report it. It's a bug!

I hope the MUIBuilder can be helpful:
http://archives.aros-exec.org/?function=showfile&file=development/guitool/muibuilder.i386-aros.tar.bz2

I have not used it yet. But the AROS porter explained, this tool still crashes alot.

Hi there,

I'm new to AROS (allthough not new to C/C++ programming, AmigaOS, Linux...)

Since I've installed Icaros under virtualbox I wonder if there is some Kind of Zune GUI Builder available and if so - where to download. Doing sporadic C/C++ Development under AmigaOS 3.9 I would love to port my (MUI-driven) Apps to AROS.

BTW - is there a way to get SAS C and StormC 4 to work under AmiBridge?

Kind regars,

Michael
