Have you tried rtl8169.device for the NIC?

That solved the problem. Lucky I had an 8 GB drive. It does not support the 4 Gig version.
I now have Aspire OS V1.98 installed. I still need drivers for rtl 8101/8102 nic and the Broadcom wireless card. The display is busted so I used an external monitor. I need case parts and a keyboard. I am not for sure if the battery is any good. edit: The GMA driver and the sound works. It is a snappy little booger. Are there any Atom desktops to put Aspire?

I have an Inspiron mini 910.
I have been trying to partition and format the SSD and have no luck with. I have tried Aros, Linux, and windows. Are SSD's locked? Thanks.
