@ntromans
Sorry, but I don't understand if the same printing operations works on regular 1.5.2 or in any AROS nightly build. Just to understand if this issue should be addressed to AROS developers instead.

@Paolone
I booted the DVD, and copied the file theme.var from ENVARC: to my harddrive. Now it boots fine ![]() The theme OS3.1 doesn't work, I'm afraid. Maybe it should be disabled for now? Regards, Kotler

@Kotler
I guess you just need to boot using the DVD, and copy envarc: to your drive's one.

Hi,
I think there could be a problem with Theme/Decoration in WIP5 and possibly older releases. I've switched off Decoration for a more clean look (using the Theme app). However, this will lead to a stuck boot, with just a black screen. Something is stopping the start-up. Could it be a script waiting for something, I don't know. Is the Boot Menu working with Icaros or is there a Safe Mode, how can I solve it? Or do I just install everything again... Thanks, Regards, Kotler.

That seems to be working, giving the output: 0x0113F260 50 65 62 0x4 dos.library

Can't test this until 6 hours is gone or so, am at work. But this I did yesterday! Echo >* "Hello" This works suggesting that it is not redirection into the CON: Echo >Pipe:output "Hello" works also, suggesting it is not output from CON: or input to a file. Echo <Pipe:output or if the file where redirected fromo Ram:output do not work, none of them! BUT type Pipe:output Works, and also Copy Pipe:output to ram works, both methods remove also file "output" from pipe, suggesting Pipe: works as it should... Therefore I come to the conclusion it has something to do with files that is open for input when it should be read to CON: redirected input. It may be something wrong in Echo itself... ? but then again rx SAY do not output anything to CON: either.

This is part of test script I have. It was working about 2 month ago. Please tell me if it is working for you:
LibList >PIPE:output grep "dos.library" <PIPE:output
