hello, nice to hear that.
It really should be very interesting if we people could be able to tune the parameters of HP by ourselves. As everyone as a different computer horsepower and hardware configuration, this would help.

Anyway, as is, HP is already a really good job. Keep rockin' :)

@oan3
I recommend you increase the number of channels like cavemann said.

I'm not sure if this will help, but its worth a shot. Go to AHI prefs and increase the number of channels for each unit. I use 8 channels for each unit. The theory is that the more channels you have, the more sounds that can play at the same time. Hope it helps!

Hi,

Tried the fix version from your website (0.2, is there any more recent version?) and it works fine now. As it is a supported soft, I'll use this one instead of mp3player.

The previous seek failure was just, in shell, a "Seek failure" message, nothing more. If you want more informations, I can, just tell me how I can do that.

With HarmonyPlayer : I still have clics problem when I copy files
it stop plays when I launch OWB, and go on after some seconds. It also clics when I move the OWB windows (not when I move drawers windows).

Is there a way I can add more playback buffer by myself (tooltype for example) ?

thanx a lot,
OAN3.

you don't bother me at all. I'm learning how to have a better and more efficient way of making stuffs there. And, oh, sorry for the mistake.

Please read more on aros.org website

I read as much stuffs as I can do. A day is only 24 hour long !! :)

Thanx for your patience boy!

I implement In_Music_Pos_Seek as class, so you can fast forward or rewind but its disabled atm due to data corruption i had in my hd has eaten some of the code.

I am currently putting few this together before i restart to work on HarmonyPlayer again.

Btw did you download the fix version, solves some of the problems with the new kernel.

Which format gives you this seek error?

Oh, I have a question : if I find a bug and find the workaround, where can I post this to help?

It depends a little.

Let's take for example harmonyplayer.

It is a project from serk118uk. And most (3th party) projects are announced on the forums.

So i usually do a search on the forums and post in the appropiate thread/forum. f.e. the harmony player thread is here.

If it is about the aros coresystem you could post it in the bug-reports forum or icaros desktop forum (accordingly to which seems more appropiate).

If it is AROS-system sourcecode related (e.g. you fixed the wrong code) then i would advise to use the developers mailinglist as they can help you incorporate the changes (if you don't have svn access).

Please read more on aros.org website

PS: i dont know (when it comes to aros/icaros/aspireos/etc) if creating a ticket in the bugtracker and posting the answer at the same time is a valid option. perhaps someone knows ?

hello m8,

I did the same in VESA mode and in did not click...

magorium told me that for some stuffs, like janus, VESA mode works better that native.

It seem it is the case for me, as there are a lot of crashes that do not appear anymore now i'm running VESA.

thanx for the answer, anyway.

(Just to tell : harmony player here tells me : "seek failure", I open an other topic for that if I don't find a workaround)

Oh, I have a question : if I find a bug and find the workaround, where can I post this to help?

what's not cool is that I just have ONE res available in screenmode app. should this be possible to get all the res possible ? even all the res possible with all the devides I would like to have in the screenmode list ? do I have to just put the xxx.device inside devs/screenmodes drawer ?

VESA modes can't be changed on-the-fly, because we don't have a real-mode emulator.
