With grub you mean grub.cfg?

Next you could try disabling audio and USB (if feasible, i.e. you don't boot from USB or require USB keyboard/mouse). Keep networking disabled for these tests as well.

Audio: move SYS:Devs/AudioModes/HDAudio to SYS:Storage/AudioModes

USB: delete enableusb in your chosen GRUB entry.

I'll try it and come back to you.

Maybe the network driver needs a reset handler. Does warm reboot work if you disable networking?
