Quick update, even though TeamAROS web page doesn't show it (it's going to be replaced shortly), Nusim Ltd has donated $203 additional dollars bring up the total to $402.

Sorry Michal, I must have missed that last time around

Anyway, it would be handy to be able to run regular PPC Aros in a box on x86 Aros and vica-versa

I have said that already, but I'll repeat once again. Qemu has to do endianess translation during emulated syscalls. Even if some structures would have been passed, they would be only used once to pass the data.

In case or AROS the structures used directly by system are accessible for user applications. If you would like to automatically translate endianesses, you would have to trace all structures in memory.

Simply - most likely impossible to do.

Remember that QEmu can emulate a PPC processor now, as well as x86, so might be a neater alternative to PearPC. Of course if you have working QEmu, that could be used for running AROS PPC executables on PCs and vica-versa

Ok, I'm getting carried away again, lol.

Whoa!, as you said Holley, getting pearpc on aros would be the tip of the iceberg to conquer the entire world

The answer is 42 ...

There's a saying here about not being able to organise a party at a brewery (to put it politely), I think it applies here, lol

Am glad the money transfer seems to have succeeded therefore - and please no jokes about how many Amiga users it takes to make a donation!

Last Call for input. Else I'll get this bounty up on the TeamAROS web page sometime today.

As it's a simple affair, it's obviously not gonna happen ... but if someday someone ports PearPC/QEmu to AROS, it could work like the 68k emulation under Mos ... and after that it'll take over the world, muahahaha ... <ahem>
