Hi all,
Just though I'd share a little discovery in case anyone else comes across the same problem. For the first time in about I year I needed to do some recording on my AresOne (hadaudio), but had an unpleasant suprise when I found it was refusing to accept any audio input either via AE4 or QuickRecorder. As I've update the OS several times since I last recorded anything, I tried working back though the various versions of hdaudio.audio back to 6.10 with no joy. In desperation rather more than hope I had a look at the hdaudio.config file in envarc: and deleted teh 'QUERTY' directive at the top and - voila - recording worked again, including with the latest drivers. I also tried this on my Samsung n145+ and it too can now record. So, if anyone else is having trouble recording using hadaudio, tr removing that QUERY entry. Cheers, Nigel.
