It did build all the way without the --enable-debug=all configure switch.

Try a Build without debug, optimization will through away some unused variable which is confusing as. This might Even be some sort of Bug in the Assembler.

With the recent changes, I'm now getting the following assembler error during a fresh hosted-debug build. I'll guess its because I'm actually running ppc-linux on a G5 tower and its 64bit ppc-system or ppc-compiler related, which hasn't been directly supported by AROS...

Especially for pixman I wonder were these are coming from? Even more, as they do not show up on a ppc darwin hosted compile.

With all the recent updates I thought I'd try building
linux-ppc hosted again, (ubuntu 10.04lts on a Mac g5 tower), which mostly compiles
and runs except for regina and pixman.

If I remove regina, pixman, and cairo from "Contrib" the build continues on to a functional hosted AROS.
