How's this for a weird idea - flash icons. That way, you get vector and bitmap animations, plus interactivity for your icons.

Hmm, I'm trying to remember who wanted to implement vector icons into Aros.

That idea was pretty neat.

Yeah, Let's not get into the form over function mode. Get the nuts and bolts working to a general usable level then make it look pretty. Not that quick little beautifiaction projects along the way aren't nice. PNG icons are cool!

Philistine!

Themeing would be pretty cool, 'though I agree that perhaps other things should take precedence.

I'm more concerned about getting TCP/IP, GCC (that works) and more libraries at the moment.

Although themeing is a nice idea, I don't think it should have priority over these things.

A quick peek in the *Themes* directory on your AROS CD/Partiton/Installation... will show you what NicJA (aka Kalamatee) has bubbling away, waiting to be released.

(Don't worry, a system is in development)

i think ppl are still doing the "original" theme...so i didnt se any talk about themes...but morphos and aros has good talks, so all the possibilities of "dual" solutions it will happen...matter of needs and time!

i think there was something about Zune themes...

If I were to start a bounty how should I go about it? Request a MorphOS-theme compatible themeing engine? Something else? Is something already planned along these lines or different? Would a Morphos-theme compatible system be a good idea, or not due to something I don't know about? (like, idonno, it wouldn't be easy as it would be system unfriendly or something.)
