Initially I put it in user-startup (along with other commodities).
When it didn't work, I put it in wbstartup I FORGOT TO REMOVE IT from user-startup! Stupid me. It works now, I love NUMCLICKS=2 mode. Any explanation why it doesn't run from user-startup? I know that user-startup is recommended for assigns, and wbstartup for autostart programs. But I'm not happy with the idea of having double copies of autostarting programs. I like to keep my system neat and minimal. Thanks a lot guys! I was pulling hair off my head.

mt12345: don't put it in user-startup. Only in wbstartup. Then reboot.

I put clicktofront into wbstartup drawer and in s:user-startup but it doesn't launch at start up. Did you do this separately or at the same time? As you discovered each time you run it it toggles on/off. I normally just put it to wbstartup, havent tried recently though.

I put clicktofront into wbstartup drawer and in s:user-startup but it doesn't launch at start up.
When I tried to run it in shell it didn't work either. Then I discovered that it works if I navigate to tools/commodities drawer and launch it manually TWICE. (I mean double-click then double-click again). THEN it behaves normally, I can switch it on / off with just one double-click or from shell) I use aros nightly build 20110807
