I see... I suppose I can cross my fingers and hope for it the future, once your WiFi implementation is more complete. Converting it to your API would be rather pointless until then.

I'm rather interested in how difficult it would be to convert various tools, utilities and applications to AROS; I know a deal of them will be treacherous, but with at least a partial POSIX layer, some may be possible.

There's a lot of work still to do to support client mode fully on AROS, so monitor mode isn't supported for now. Also, the wireless driver API is completely different from Linux.

As AROS seems to support WiFi networks these days, I think it'd be brill to see the Airmon-ng tools running. I may even consider porting them, but I'd need to discuss the feasibility of this in your Dev boards.

TBH, I'm unfamiliar with AROS, and I'm only just getting into using it. I used to run AmigaDOS once upon a time, and after discussing AROS (at length) with a friend and looking at how far it has come since its conception, which was close to the last time I looked at it, I thought to give it a go.

TO me, Airmon-ng has become indispensable, and having it on AROS would pull-in many of the Linux crowd to try it, and then of course, to develop ports. ...
