I'm not sure what GRUB configuration you're describing, Nikolaos. Ubuntu's GRUB doesn't understand standard AROS partitions, so the AROS kernel would have to be put on the Linux boot partition.
The alternative is to install Ubuntu first, and then AROS. You'll then need to copy some settings from Ubuntu's GRUB config to AROS's. However, Ubuntu likes to update its GRUB menu automatically when it updates its kernel AFAIK, which will mean that Ubuntu will continue using the original kernel unless the settings for AROS's GRUB are manually updated afterwards.

You should make aros and ubuntu dualboot, and at the same time set up aros hosted with ubuntu. That is working real well. The best way to set up you HDD would be to install AROS first, then install ubuntu on rest of space on hdd. You can read about how to set up aros on grub from aros.org install documention. pretty well documented. When you done that, you will hit esc when grub is booting, then you will see your aros partition. pretty nice.

Thanks, i will think about it : ) We need Aros T-shirts for the Cebit 2010. I thought about mousepads too.
What is the best way (in terms of time) to get Aros and Ubuntu dualbooting? I'm downloading gparted actually. I will fiddle a little bit around and try out something but maybe someone described it already -this could save my time and prevent me from a collapse : ) or a hysterical fit. Regards, Pascal

The shop looks very nice.
All the best of luck with it :) You should sell t-shirts and other effects too with the ares one logo. Maybe with something like: ARES powered by AROS

Yippee, ordered a white AresOne. Can't wait :)
Most people probably want a white one since the majority of today's computers is black. So white is cool for a change!
