Well, poo!
Ok, only other idea is this. Maybe we can start a "pool" to cover the fees. Team Aros isn't exactly burting with donations, so we (the community) could probable do that ourselves. If this sounds doable to you, what do you estiamate this "pool" would need to be for a given quarter? |

Problem with that is then you have to pay corp tax rates on the donations which is far highier then the paypal fee. :/

I have an idea.
I know that at times there have been companies that have supported Aros. Would one of them be willing to process credit donations for Team Aros? Companies usually get better rates for processing credit cards. |

i like tha ideia of the credit card...just make clear the will have tax/fees over it. imo its not a big deal...since we was born we pay tax/fees for people who looks like have lot more than us (those politicans)

Ooooo. I was just getting ready to start a new bounty, but was going to do it by check card. I agree, being able to take credit/check card is important. But, I don't know how to solve the issue.

I could upgrade, but the point is for everyone to understand, I wouldn't cover the fees out of my own pocket. So $100 donation would be really, $94.70 to AROS. I figured folks wouldn't be happy to see what they are donating go to something else (like fees).

I can only speak for myself and a few others i spoke to! try and find a way we can use credit cards ;) then i would at least have no prob spitting in money (sorry but i wont register at paypal).

Donations have been running pretty light for the second half of this year for TeamAROS. The only recent donation, I had to turn down because it was via credit card (or check card, not sure which) as I don't want upgrade that paypal account (If I did, all donations, even straight cash, has a fee against it). I'm out of ideas on how to raise more funding to spirit on the devs with more coding for AROS. I'm open for suggestions.
