well, im not sure...
but as a good imagination as the one i have, meybe using l4 would make easy a better posix support (fork()), memory protection -mmu and maybe the possibilitie of 68k support a la amithlon. (otoh i have allready heard that would not be the best aproach) but that is (like cranbarries says)...just my imagination!?! :quoi: :quoi: :quoi: :quoi: :quoi: |

well, doesnt sound that special.
i asked cause we can have 2 scenarios: 1) exec kernel (actual) 2) or l4 microkernel (misc ideas) and maybe, just maybe, we could have a better emu support using the amitlhon/umilator concept! justing brainstorming! =o) regards, |

im an aros user and i would like to know, if someone know what is the diferences between the amitlhon/umilator kernel compared with the regular linux kernel? (im not talking a non related to aros, cause aros 68k emulation path is not allready seted, imo) regard, |

It would be nice if you could keep your flamewars and missguided hate elsewhere. *This* is AROS forum here and not your private battleground.
