The advantage of port for uae instead of port for a m68k is that you can allways patch uae!

So if I were to say, start a bounty with just that as a discription. That would be enough? It's isn't too vague?? Just asking..... If that is it, wait till around Friday...who knows what might happen....

Thats enough to start with.

An ex-demo scene coder may be the one for this job!

I agree, having aros ported for UAE would be good for further integration , bug hunting and for AROS wider spread...as the emulators are a huge communitie nowdays, when speaking of amiga!

There was work on a 68k version of AROS, but it got left behind a long time back - I don't think it really is a high priority as on the Amiga itsself it already has Workbench, so it's kinda re-inventing the wheel.

At the mo EUAE is on the cards (a version has been made, but still needs work) - this would make for a more useable UAE within AROS, further integration could then follow I guess, but for me just having EUAE functioning would be great!

I think booth options are a good ideas for a bounty. I personally would prefer option 1.

But I think, that there are more important things for AROS to do. I hope someone will adopt the UAE integration bounty. An other good idea for a bounty would be a 68k Version of AROS which is running inside UAE. At least a first version of this. I think this are important topics, because most AROS Users want an 68k emulator inside AROS. An this would be steps in the right direction to make Amiga 68k programs work on AROS without using original Amiga OS.

But, Linux has come a long way in drivers, if we can use those, I am sure it would help until Native versions of the drivers can be done. I think that if the system could use Native if avaliable and not native if a native one isn't would be great.

agreed!

If that means hosted with Aros on top, ok. If that means making Aros be able to use Linux drives by doing the modular kernal, ok too.

I dont think so!

P.S I am planning on adding 20-30 to the basic Warnderer bouty. If you think that it is not too much maybe we can add more to it.

I have no ideia...in this field i think your support means more than how much you support!
