Is your HD unit 0 (if you didn't change it to something else in the installer, it must be 0)? If it's not zero, you might have to use a shell command to install GRUB. Also, what size is your HD?

You can try the installer again, but just select install grub (bootloader) and nothing else. will only take a few minutes to try!

yes, it 's that. First time I did'nt check it, and causing the same issue you're talking about.
If you followed the icaros manual correctly, I'm afraid I have no other idea ^^

I've checked option "install bootloader" in installation options, and I have set Gfx for bootloader menu mode, is this option that you are talking about? Thanks :)

on installation, did you activated the grub option ? if not, it may cause this problem (I had the same issue on the first time).

Hi,
I have boot problems with icaros 1.1.1, I followed the manual, but after installation and restart seems that grub isn't been found, how I can resolve this problem? I am trying to install icaros on a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo D 7830 notebook, all the hardware seems supported, infact icaros in live mode works well. Thank you :)
