I dunno... I always associated AROS with that particular shade of green... Y'know, the slightly washed-out, blinking lime green, accompanied by grey stripes? The one that tells you "HAHA! YOUR VIDEO TOASTER 4000 KILLED THE CHIP IN U370! DIE DIE DIE". I miss my A4000. :(
Actually, AROS is definitely more "red." It's got that older "Commodore Amiga Workbench Rev 40.68" feel, except after it's been run through a user with some sense of taste. BLUE:http://pegasos-italia.com/Screenshots/Grabs/MOS_02.jpg RED:http://amigaworld.net/images/features/os4screens4/screen1.png I'd say AROS is more... BLINKING GREEN WITH GREY STRIPES: http://www.gregdonner.org/workbench/images/wb_31.gif Which is definitely closer to red. Also remember the AROS.org colours. Red and white.

65% of those who know it think that it's 45% of everyone that knows it ... confused? you will be ...
Anyway yellow is a primary colour when painting, green with lighting. I recon Black is best, but of course thats a shade, not a colour ![]()

I love this!
a discussion of red and blue with no fighting! (not that i would expect any fighting here, of course). anyway, the red / blue "wars" are over. to which I say, "WHOPPEEEE!" we can rotate colors. we could have a couleur du jour. :rasta: we could become Australian and make make multicolored yawns! (fortunately, there's no smilie here for that!) let's get crasy! :rot:

heh,.. I just realised a mistake in my original post. Red, blue and green arent primrary colors. It's red, yellow and blue. I was thinking more along the lines of colors for a monitor, tv, etc I guess. Think I'll stick with green though for my nomination still. Yellow somehow just seems to weak a color for some reason (or maybe Im just insane). Black would be my 2nd choice though.

DFerg - saying it's a rainbow of all colours has interesting conotations ...
Most seem to refer to it as black, probably from Dammy's T shirts having Aros on the front and black troll on the back! Works for me though Very Matrixey ... maybe green if not black ...
