Would it be possiable to word the bounty in a way that would say.. "Would prefer and ArosDock ( or AmiDock clone.. ) " but would accept implimentation of StartMenu.

You know either way. If it is a startmenu then that is what it is, for a start anyway.

I can just hear all the message boards now... "They are coping widows...."

Just for the record I don't like the StartMenu in Windows either. All around I prefer a dock.. I just think it makes Aros look toyish...

STARTMENU??? YUK!!!

Would much rather have a dock. But, this is of course only my opinion.

Work around Fork would be a major benefit for AROS in porting software over. I would prefer native coded appliations/services (did I just say services? My bad!;), be as that may, I rather have a port app/d within my lifetime then waiting on a "purist" coded application that may never see the light of day. I figure if it's ported and it's cranky and annoying enough, someone will eventually code a "Amiga like" replacement of it. As AROS becomes "useful" to the average user, that should draw in more Devs, which in turn, will give AROS more native apps/ds.

POSIX is a UNIX standard. You'd probably say that it would make porting applications to AROS easier, but that's because it makes AROS less Amiga-like.
