That is what I am talking about. Just the game in UAE in a regular window. Now if we can launch the game without having to start UAE then launch the game, that would be great!! As seamless as reasonably possiable. Now I really will have to dig out my Lemmings game.

yes, i think with iconx you can launch uae with lemmings disk inserted! (but you would still have the adf and the kick roms)...it doesnt have audio support yet, and im not sure about the fullscreen support!

I am not a UAE guru. I do have the Amiga Forever 6.0 so I have all the things that I need. I just have not been able to make it work in Aros. I don't find that to be a big deal either. I don't own old Amiga software anyway. If I did have to use UAE for these types of games, that would be ok. I just don't really want to run Aros, run Amgia on Aros then run Lemmings, running on Amiga, running on Aros. But this really isn't a big deal. I was just curious. Still, would love me some Lemmings....
hmmm, question. I have heard about IconX, if we had that would we be able to start the Amiga Lemmings from Aros and have it just open UAE and load the game? No workbench, etc.. Somehow I think it is more complicated than that. I know lots of people want UAE intergration, I really don't care. Nice yes, needed....no. None of that matters until someone figures out why the Nvida.hidd fails to open on my supported card... But, that is an other story... |

well, it uses a c++ portable lib (instead of our beloved sdl)...but why dont you use UAE?!?!?!

A few days ago in a post I mentioned Lemmings. Well, we all know Lemmings isn't coming to Aros anytime soon, or ever. Someone pointed me to Pingus, a lemmings clone with Tux the Pinguin. I would love to see this on Aros. Lemmings and Amiga are inseperable to me, or at least lemmingish. I do not know if a port is possiable, extreamly hard, or rather easy. Can I get an opinion from a dev or devs about this? Is anyone else interested in a port of this? If so, is there enough interest to justify a bounty?
