Oh, you A3000 weirdoes. I'd still be using my A4000 today if the CIAs hadn't been cooked! Now I'm stuck with anywhere between two and four A2000s of assorted stature, and an A1000 with no accessories.
(When I say assorted stature, I mean assorted stature. I've got everything from a VT2000 to a 386 card!)

Very nice - though PAL at 21" gives you pixels the size of elephants!
I've been using my A1200 on a Scart lead to my 28" widescreen telly, so ner Seriously though, I've got a 1084s and Philips scart monitor, and they're both great. I also had a 1701 from my Vic-20 days, and that was ok for games (it's gone to the monitor shop in the sky now, though).

15 - 40 KHz horz 50 - 90 Hz vert I also use it for my PS2 and cable TV. These were real popular a decade ago.

PLEASE NOTE: The regular Amiga video port output is 15KHz, almost VGA monitors only go down to 30KHz, so having a plain adapter won't work unless you switch the Workbench video mode to a higher one, and it won't work with any games at all no matter what you do (!)
The best solution is to get an old Commodore monitor (1084S 14" ones crop up on ebay all the time) or a Scart cable with a decent TV. The only other thing is to get a scandoubler which doubles the output frequency, however these are more expensive than a 2nd hand Commodore monitor or portable telly.

You should be able to find the adapter mentioned, but you could also have any custom cable place make an Amiga to SVGA cable.

I'm asking those who have a little knowledge about classic Amigas. I have an A1200 and an old PC monitor. But the PC monitor's cable is not fit in the Amiga's vide port. So is there any adapter or such or i have to buy an other monitor to use my Amiga?
