Reasons for 68k AROS
1. UAE making old amigaprograms usuable with AROS straight out of the box. But I think that making a AROS-rom for uae isn´t easy.

2. Making it run on old amigas just because its cool, but I think you need a 030 to make it usable.

3.Making a Atari Falcon or Apple Powerbook540 run amiga programs, just because it´s possible.

BTW has anyone built Aros hosted on m68k-linux?
Does it work? Is it binary compatible?

Does m68k-linux run old Powerbooks 190s and 500s? they are cheap now. and they look cool.

I was just doing some thinking (probably not of any benefit) and i was just wondering if there is either a need or a desire for an Amiga classic 680x0 port of Aros.

One of the reasons I am wondering this, is that support for the machines with KS2.0 up is pretty good with AmigaOS 2.x/3.x, (so i presume little need for 68k Aros), machines with Kickstart below 2.0 could perhaps benefit from the way that Aros is written (given a reasonable amount of memory).

Or am I just going off on a pointless tangent?
