You need to login with anonymous account and make sure the FTP session is not set for passive or needs to be set for active FTP.

 Has anyone any clue on my FTP file transfer problem? Is there anyone out there using VmwAros on Vista who got the FTP-connection working?

You just need to download the zip files the way you like best, via AAEDT or via PUB: and FTP, and then unzip them with unzip shell command. For istance:
open shell with rAros+W move to ram: > Ram: unzip the file you want > unzip pub:myfile.zip probably, a /myfile directory will be created automatically in ram: > cd myfile you are there. Feel free to use wanderer (show > all files) to manage the unpacked files as you wish.

I know at least that arosmax has unzip. But I don't know if anyone posted any sources or binaries.

I'm trying to get file transfer to work in VmwAROS. I'm using VMware Player 2.02 on Windows Vista and I'm trying to connect using FileZilla with the settings from the VmwAROS instructions. I also tried with Directory Opus but no luck.
 BTW, I'm using Wookiechat and Archives AROS Exec Download Tool without any problems. So at least I have a working network connection from the AROS side. Anyone have an idea what might be wrong? Another question: Is there any software for unpacking ZIP-files in VmwAROS? I've looked around but I can't find any.
