Yes since the last version it includes anything needed to work out of the box.

also, please follow the naming scheme:

"Important! Please name your file by following this naming convention: (package name).(aros platform).(archive format)
The (aros platform) would most likely be the following: i386, ppc, sparc, arm, or alpha"

so: murks-0.5.3-i386.zip

Yes you are right, and I read your earlier comment on archives.

The Problem is, that a lot of links show to the murks.zip and the murks.zip readme. Maybe 4play has an idea how to follow the naming scheme without breaking those links ?

2Paolo:
1.So why not just remove them?
2.I must used Start-Quake, not just quake executable %) my bad
3.To make this i can only suppose to boot VM with linux live CD, then use dd command to dump hdd to the file, place that file on additional HD image or network, then make a new AROS HD image with that option, and DD it back.
4.Well, there`s already some mirrors.

Thanks for your suggestions, please send me the .cd file, I'll do my best to provide a italian catalog.

This is the catalog translation file:

generic_ctfile_for_translations

Just insert the italian strings this way:

Quote:

;
MSG_ADDFILEWND_FRAME
your language string for "Unit Data"
; Unit Data

by the way, the new version of MurksIDE is now online:

aros-archives

If you want to compile the catalog by yourself, i can send you the catalog descriptor too.

Well, I see VMWaros going well.
Here`s some notes from the quick sight.

1. Some themes in SYS:System/Themes seems to be inconsistent (there`s only some widgets images in it`s folders). These themes don`t working.

2. Quake don`t starting, with the message of gfx.wad not found. But this file is supposed to be in pak0.pak! well, this is the same as was when i tried it before with shareware pak.

3. IIRC there an option in VMWare to split the image file into files of 2 Gb. This option can be used to make an image compatible with FAT in future, when the image going to increase over 2 Gb.

4. I`ll try to make some extra downloading links later.
What filehost could you can recommend to me (except for megauploads)?

1. It's in the release notes.

2. Nope, Quake works correctly. I don't know exactly what you did, however I can make you sure that the version I provided is working as expected. What version of VMware are you using?

3. I should have selected this option when creating the diskfile. I'm not going to redo all the work just to get compatibility with obsolete filesystems ;) If you know a speedy way to work around the problem, please tell me.

4. If I knew other file hosting services, I would use them. =)

Paolo probably just extracted MurksIDE to the HD. Thast OK as long as you only develop with Murks. Ther Startup Script of murks makes all neccessary assigns and path.

Paolo, you could just copy the assign and path stuff from the text file MurksIDE in Murks directory to user-startup. That should solve this problem.

But before you do that, there will be a new version in the next hours. Fully localised. maybe you want to make an italian catalog ?

VMwaros is already 200mb (or 150 in 7z). I think it would be better to make development part as the additional iso to put in vmware and make a simple script to copy the gcc and other stuff.
