Thanks for the prompt delivery, Dammy It was nice to be doing something that most people hadn't seen before, especially as it was dominated by OS4 (which, with all the updates, is looking complete & and very useable).

In case you're wondering, the lady there is my other half Kate, who was getting stuck into Spider Solitaire ...

Congratulations on your excellent showing of AROS! Glad the T-Shirt made it there in time too.

I'm just sorry I couldn't get quake with sound for you. :( I wound up spending the last week trying to get FC3 running on my system. I now have it sorted out and am back to work, but I think it's a wee bit late for the show. Oh well, maybe next time.

Although the T-shirt was pretty catchy, it probably would have been more impressive to have a nice black Armani suit with AROS embroidered in gold thread at the jacket cuffs.

Hi, well I may not have got Quake to work, but everything else went fine - lots of people had a look and a play around with my AROS rig, many had tried it off the ISO but hadn't seen a native install on a harddisk.

Several people were impressed by the overall speed of it all (ie. playing 2 player Doom with several demos in the background), and the Kitty demo's shaped window - hopefully this is a feature that's going to get used some more in the not too distant future!

Anyway, a good time was had by all, and it helped to show how far AROS has got. For photos (and a nice mention) check here - including a good shot of me sporting the last of Dammy's white T-shirts
