That works fine, but don't forget to give aros some memory or you won't be able to run anything.

./aros -m 64

for 64M of memory.

AROS-MAX starts just fine. DOpus fails to run because it can't open dopus.library. OSS sound works fine. I ran DOOM to check things out. The timedemo gives me 604 FPS on default window size (320x200), and I get 158 FPS when using 640x480. Sound works fine in it, but you need to get the midi instruments file from aminet and include it so people can play music in DOOM.

Using Aros Max on Linux
#5
There is an easy way to test AROS Max when running Linux.

Share your screen:
$> xhost +

Mount the iso file with the loop device:
$> su
#> mount aros-max.iso /cdrom -t iso9660 -o loop=/dev/loop0

And run aros:
#> cd /cdrom
#> ./aros

Actually I already tied booting without any HD connected, still same problem. The last nightly build I tried was from 10/14 and it worked very well. I will try again and do the HD thing and tell you what happens, just in case.
